A lot of my time in the day goes into working. I’m not complaining because I really do love my job! I get to help business owners, bloggers and other creatives grow their brand and online presence. However, I do think it’s important that you love your job but it’s also key to have a workspace that you’re comfortable in and one that motivates you to work. Most of our team spends a lot of time at the office with late nights and early mornings. I won’t lie, it’s nice to decorate our desks to create an atmosphere that’s in line with our brand and of course, our own unique styles. Not to mention, this allows us to pull items for flat lays and event decor when we need to!
Now, this isn’t a look at my full desk.. well, because I have a lot of stuff on my desk! I keep it tidy but I do have a large, Ikea desk. Some of my favourite items include a desk lamp with a soft light for those early mornings and late nights. A total must have for me is also a plant.. or two. I have 12 around my desk; eight which are on my desk. Plants helps to filter and purify air which in return makes the air your breathing all day; that much cleaner! Burning a candle creates a nice ambiance and glow, especially during mornings or towards the end of the day. I’m always pumping essential oils and my fave oil is lavender – check out that big bottle!
If you’re feeling unmotivated, or need an excuse to shop then I totally recommend going out to gather some on brand items for your desk. Getting stationary and items in your brand colours such as notebooks, clips, etc. make creating your own branded content that much easier!
