It’s beginning to feel like gift giving season! I love giving gifts.. but only when I know I nailed the gift. You’ve got to be be confident with your gift! Giving gift baskets has been my go to for a few years. I like creating a personalized selection of gifts that I have curated for that specific person. You can tie in some of their favourite snacks, toss in items that remind you of the person or items you might have heard that person mention when you weren’t thinking of gift giving season. I also keep my ears open so when a friend or family member says “Ugh! I would love to get a ____ for my _____.” I keep mental note.
Samantha from With Love Gift Co. gifted me and my team at Brand Ambition with the Christmas Cheer basket. It was packed with goodies from local businesses and even included a nice treat from Starbucks! There were a bunch of teas from Cup of Life and tasty treats from Eat My Shortbread and Biscuits to Baskets. We ate all of the shortbread including the CRACK. We had covered pretzels and tasty white chocolate treats too! Check it out:
She was lovely enough to gift me with the Classy Gent gift box too! The standard box comes with beard oil and well, there isn’t one. But, I was able to gift the beard oil. It smells amazing and all the babes will be attracted to the beard after using that product! Samantha spoiled me and added a body soap so that I could test out the lovely products from Everday Indulgences – there was even a lovely handcrafted bar of soap. Both smell fantastic! Too stay over the holidays, the gift box also includes some cute tube socks. I’ll be honest, my favourite item was the jerky. Great Canadian Meat Company is a local company and jerky is a total fave of mine! Thanks Sam for the extra jerky! In the box was also golf balls, I gifted these to a client of mine who loves golf! The box also included ground coffee from Deadly Grounds & a peppermint lip balm from J.R. Watkins, both perfect for the cold weather!
So if you’re stuck during the holiday seasons with gifting, consider putting together a little gift bag or box together! Fill it up with items from local businesses, throw in their favourite items – or even put a theme behind it! I’ve definitely done the BBQ theme for Father’s Day 😉
