Don’t own a fiddle leaf fig yet? Get on it! These babies are perfect for your home or office. Not to mention, will take your Instagram game to the next level. These trendy little plants have been around forever. More and more I’m seeing a mix of Fiddle leaf figs and monstera’s take over my Instagram feed. After all, I do engage with a lot of plant accounts.
Caring for a fiddle fig leaf isn’t super hard; mind you, it’s one of the more difficult plants to please. A big tip I have for you is to keep those gorgeous leaves clean. A damp paper towel or a moist micro fibre rag will help you. Support the leaf while you wipe it down. They collect a lot of dust and you need to ensure the leaf can soak up that sun in order to grow!
The big challenge many plant owners have with fiddle leaf fig trees/plants is that they can’t supply enough bright, filtered light. They don’t want to be right under the sun, super hot like a succulent. Rather, they need indirect bright sun. The perfect environment for these is my office!
