I’m excited to highlight this brand! As a gay entrepreneur, it’s always refreshing to meet other LGBTQ+ entrepreneurs and to support one another. Ryan Walker is the founder of Outtire and based out of Orange County, CA. Ryan and I connected on Clubhouse and there I was able to hear more from him about the brand he’s building. The Outtire brand empowers members of the LGBTQ+ community and those that support us through fun and unapologetic designs. The designs are fun and some include text like: “Send Dudes” “Plant Daddy” “Gay And Rich” “Twink” “Non-Binary Royalty” “Daddy” and “Big Dyke Energy” While you might have think that I picked “Twink,” you’re wrong!
Aaron and I tend to match with our boots, jeans and jackets quite regularly (he copied me!) But I thought, why not get matching t-shirts. Cute, right? We are rocking the “Stickfella Pride Tee” which is super cute. The shirts we got are 100% combined ring-spun cotton, they’re soft and really comfortable. The design on the front isn’t stiff either, it’s a comfortable shirt! The designs are made with pride in LA with 5% of proceeds being donated to LGBTQ+ charities.
The Outtire brand is all about uplifting each other in the community. When members of the LGBTQ+ community support one another, we’re able to grow as a whole. There is a lot of power in having visibility. Every day I am reminded how lucky we are to live in a community where I feel safe and proud to be who I am. When you show up as your authentic self, other people relate and that is how a community of like-minded individuals can grow.
